Kate Reimann

While searching for a truly compostable, petroleum-free material for her beach toy products, Kate realized her mission had to be bigger than beach toys - to create the biggest positive impact on the global plastics economy, she needed to make this material available to the world.

Based in Hawaii, Kate sees the ecological damage caused by oil-based plastics on a daily basis as micro-plastics wash onshore - by the hundreds of thousands.  Rogue Wave Materials is her ode to the ocean, and her legacy to her two ocean-loving boys.
